Cotton Project: Mexico

Anyone in the garment industry can tell you that cotton prices are soaring.  In Mexico, this can be a good thing for our projects.  Two hectares of planted cotton (valued at $5,200) will produce over 100% returns this harvest, meaning more children can benefit from our prevention and rehabilitation projects.  The cotton farming project is insured by the Mexican government up to 80%, so while Mexico is a volatile place for investment due to cartel interference, there is a reasonable measure of risk management for this project.
